The Consistency of Consistency - How to Be Consistent Every Day
Every Day Is A New Beginning: A news crew interviewed a small college basketball coach. The coach's father watched from behind as the sportscaster asked the coach questions about the upcoming season.

Everyday Consistency Son Father
The son started off as an assistant coach to his father, and when his father retired at age 65, the son became head coach.
Like Father Like Son: So, now that the son had ten years of head coaching under his belt, the interviewer asked him how his father adjusted when his dad retired. The son said his father took up running at 65 years of age to fill the time. The son stated his father was now 75 years old and ran every day since retiring.

Every Day? The interviewer turned to the dad and asked, "Every day? Really?" The dad replied, "Yes, every day." The reporter shook his head and then asked, "Aren't there days when you don't feel like running?"
"Every Day!" The dad paused and then replied, "Every day!"
The father then reached into his gym bag and pulled out his calendar and shared it with the interviewer.

The interviewer said, "That is remarkable. You have such consistency."
The interview with the head coach concluded, and the reporter went and talked to the father. The interviewer asked, "Do you mind if I ask you how you became so consistent?"
