The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face - Roberta Flack (Click - cued to play starting at 0:00 to 0:13)
I was living in an off-campus apartment near some coeds from Lynden (Yes, that ‘Lynden of Greg HelGOAT’ fame).
I saw a lot of Moose hanging around the apartment complex. Something must have attracted him.
Long Cool Woman (in a Black Dress) - The Hollies (Click - cued to play starting at 2:32 to 2:35)
Moose dated one of the (apparently very naive) Lynden farm girls for a while…
Fooled Around and Fell in Love - Elvin Bishop (Click - cued to play starting at 0:51 - 0:58)

Moose Loved To Play Baseball: Moose loved to play baseball. Moose loved to play baseball.
Moose Loved To Play Baseball: We played quite a few slo-pitch games together. Both at Everett and later in rec leagues in the Seattle area. One year we played in a Monday/Wednesday rec league AND a Tuesday/Thursday rec league. Even though we were both working summer jobs, we also played in weekend tournaments.
Moose Loved To Play Baseball: Moose has some ‘warm-up circle’ superstitions, but once he was at the plate, he had the smoothest, opposite-field stroke I ever saw…
Superstition – Stevie Wonder (Click - cued to play starting at 0:30 - 0:36)
Moose Liked 70’s Music: I knew Moose well enough to know what music he liked.

And there was music that he didn’t.

It was time to say goodbye to my friends, including Moose.

Let’s Stay Together – Al Green (Click - cued to play starting at 1:32 -1:42)
It was a great two years at the community college. I often look back fondly upon those days.
Those days, when we were so young.
The Way We Were – Barbra Streisand (Click - cued to play starting at 0:33 - 0:58)
Miss you buddy… (and I know you, De-Moose, would hate me playing Barbra Streisand for you :) Enjoy.)
ps - Just where did De-Moose come from? Moose’s family was from the Detroit area, and all his uncles were avid fans. Every sports discussion with him started and ended with a De-Troit team. Thus… De-Moose.
De-Moose Loved To Play Baseball…
